EforAll Gives SouthCoast Entrepreneurs a Head Start [TOWNSQUARE SUNDAY]
Want to start a business but don't know how? There's an organization on the SouthCoast that provides young entrepreneurs with what they need to get up and running.
EforAll offers free programs in both Fall River and New Bedford. Its mission is to accelerate the business growth in the region.
EforAll has assisted in the start-up of dozens of small businesses since it first opened its doors here in 2015. Many of these businesses are owned and operated by women.
Program Director Von Marie Moniz and alumni and mentor Jennifer Potter joined Townsquare Sunday this week to discuss E-for-All.
Potter owns several businesses including Mamas and Babysitters, and company that helps parents find qualified babysitters for their kids. She discussed how EforAll gave her the training, knowledge and confidence to successfully open her business.
Moniz is also an alumni of the program. She described how the program works, and how aspiring businesses owners can apply. There are two classes every year, one in the summer and the other in the fall.
Moniz also talked about funding. While EforAll does not provide funding to help you start a new business, it can certainly provide you with the information to need to successfully apply for loan or other funding to get started.

Townsquare Sunday is a weekly public affairs program heard every Sunday on 1420 WBSM. The program highlights individuals and organizations working to improve the quality of life for people living on the SouthCoast.
