The baby boy was born Tuesday and was delivered without a C-section.

They say your second child is usually bigger than the first, and boy was that true for this Middleboro mother.

The Taunton Gazette reports that Jennifer Newhook welcomed her second son on Tuesday at Morton Hospital...and he was definitely larger than her first.

In fact, he was the largest baby many of the delivery nurses had even seen.

Baby Ryder officially weighed in at 12 pounds and 14.9 ounces and measured 23 inches long. (His older brother was just over 10 pounds at birth)

Perhaps crazier than the baby's weight was the fact that just two weeks ago, Newhook had an ultrasound and was told that the baby was about 8 pounds and 11 ounces.

Even crazier if you ask me, is the fact that Newhook delivered Ryder naturally in just about 30 minutes!

The Gazette reports that Ryder did suffered a fractured collarbone during delivery, but both he and his mother are doing well.

And yes, she had an epidural!
