Michael Rock’s Quest For The Holy Chale

I have discovered a life-changing soup: chale. I know...it sounds a little weird. Kale soup? Yummy. Chowder? Yummy. Together? Hmmmm. Not sure. UNTIL I TRIED IT at the Brewfish Restaurant in Marion. It is so spicy and delicious. It awakens every taste bud in your mouth!

I tried buttering up the waitress, Michelle, for the recipe...but no luck. So...I'm trying to analyze the chale soup and trying to recreate it at home. That's when I got this phone call this morning:
