Massachusetts Senator Warren Is Reportedly a Charitable Cheapskate
U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren has taken many hits from her critics over the years. The Massachusetts Democrat, under intense pressure, confessed to falsifying her heritage as a supposed American Indian. She has been called "insincere," "shrill," and "phony." President Trump recently called Warren a "nutjob."
Now Warren faces new criticism. She's being called a cheapskate.
Paul Sperry, writing for The Daily Signal, accused Warren of speaking with a "forked tongue" when it comes to her left-leaning policies.

Warren’s Financial Record Under the Microscope
Sperry, an investigative reporter for Real Clear Investigations, said financial records "show that Warren has hardly followed the path of socialism in her personal finances," even though "she has been a catalyst for moving her party to the left since her first campaign in 2012."
"Warren tirelessly bashes the 'selfish' and 'greedy' rich for not paying their 'fair share,' and demands the government step in and redistribute their income to the poor," Sperry wrote.
But it seems Warren talks a good game.
Critics Question Her Charitable Giving
"While Warren hauls in nearly $1 million a year, she donated less than 3% of her household income to charity in 2024, according to her tax returns," Sperry wrote. "The average millionaire donates more than twice her share."
A Fortune Built in the Top 1%
According to The Street, "Warren and her husband, Bruce Mann, have amassed a formidable financial fortune, placing her well within the top 1% of highest-earning Americans." That's what fellow leftie Bernie Sanders refers to as "the richest 1%."
The Street stated Warren "has a net worth of at least $8 million as of early 2025," based on "estimates from the homes she shares with her husband, proceeds from her book sales, savings, mutual funds, and other assets."
Tax Write-Offs Add Fuel to the Fire
Sperry stated Warren "keeps her own tax burden down" while calling for higher taxes on others. He said Warren has even "written off used articles of clothing on her taxes and has had to correct past returns for inflating the value of those items."
