Massachusetts Teen Amanda Peterson Wins Super Tuesday Election
Think back to what you were doing when you were 19 years old.
For me?
I promise you, it wasn't as productive as what 19-year-old Amanda Peterson is doing.
The Suffolk University first-year student just booted out her incumbent opponent in the March 5 Super Tuesday election. She will take over the seat of a Massachusetts Republican state committeewoman.
Technically, Peterson isn't a freshman. Because of all of the Advanced Placement courses she took in high school, she is a sophomore tracking for early graduation.
In addition to juggling her courses at Suffolk, the Wrentham resident will next get settled into her new political seat. She'll attend school while acting as the liaison between the Republican party and candidates for office.
Peterson credits her experience in a State Senate race last fall.
