Massachusetts Called ‘Sexy’ on Popular National TV Show

I was today years old when I first heard someone call Massachusetts "sexy."

A recent 90 Day Fiancé clip making the rounds on TikTok features 59-year-old Mark from West Ossipee, New Hampshire, and his fiancée, 34-year-old Mina from Paris, France, driving down I-93 South.

As they crossed the Massachusetts border, Mina attempted to pronounce the state's name in her thick French accent; she didn’t quite nail it, but still declared it “sexy.” TikTokers immediately ran with it, celebrating the unexpected compliment.

“Finally someone recognizes Massachusetts’ sexiness. Mark is from West Ossippee, NH but uses some private runway for his plane which is in MA.”

This isn’t the first 90 Day Fiancé connection to Massachusetts. Fans may remember Patrick and Thais filming in Taunton at New York Lace for wedding dress shopping.

Now, with Season 11 premiering Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC, local viewers are extra invested in this new couple’s journey.

Mark, a divorced pilot living in rural New Hampshire, fell for Mina, a Parisian model. After a whirlwind romance and a daughter together, Mina is finally moving to the U.S. However, she’s struggling with leaving her nine-year-old son behind while his passport is processed, and Mark’s daughter from his first marriage is skeptical of her intentions.

As for Massachusetts being “sexy”? That’s debatable.

However, the state has produced its fair share of People’s Sexiest Men Alive, including John F. Kennedy Jr. (1988), Ben Affleck (2002), Matt Damon (2007), Chris Evans (2022) and John Krasinski (2024).

Maybe Mina was onto something after all.
