Fresh off her Billboard Music Awards performance, Madonna has announced a new album and a new country that influenced it.

Seems Madge has been spending some time living in Lisbon and got inspired to work on her first album in four years there.

Madame X is her 14th studio album and will be released rather fittingly on June 14.

Her BBMA performance was clearly a taste of the entire Latin feel album Madonna has put together.

Though hopefully, future performances are sans eye patch. What's up with that thing?

According to the Portugal News, Madonna says the album was born in Lisbon. Adding in a statement about the upcoming work:

I found my tribe there and a magical world of incredible musicians that reinforced my belief that music across the world is truly all connected and is the soul of the universe.

Clearly, she liked Lisbon.

And clearly, she's hoping fans like the new work.

Album sales have definitely been on a downward spiral for the Queen of Pop. Her highest-selling record of all time, 1986's True Blue, sold 25 million copies worldwide.

Her last album, 2015's Rebel Heart, sold just 1 million copies worldwide.

Still, she is the biggest selling female artist of all time. She even holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for that one.

And she hopes to add to her reign when Madame X drops on June 14.
