The Lobster Roll Poll We Never Knew We Needed

We put up a fun question on Fun 107’s Facebook page this morning. We asked a simple question about lobster rolls.

As we head into Fourth of July week, a ton of lobster rolls will be sold on the SouthCoast. The obvious question would have been "do you prefer lobster rolls hot with butter or served cold with mayonnaise?"

Lobster Rolls are Delicious, Both Hot and Cold

Personally, I have never met a lobster roll I did not like. I am an equal opportunity lobster roll eater. I do not care if it is hot or cold; I am always up for a lobster roll.

“Always?” asked Michaela.

“Yes, always,” I said.

“Would you eat a lobster roll with ketchup on it?” was the response.

Ketchup and Mustard on Lobster Rolls?

Well, I guess that is where I draw the line because that did not seem remotely appetizing.

That led to us asking on Fun 107’s Facebook page ruin a lobster roll with one ingredient.

Hilarious Listener Responses

We got hundreds of responses. Many of them were hysterical to think about. Here are some of our favorites and what they would look like if we actually did it, thanks to ChatGPT. See, and you thought AI was dangerous! It is as harmless as maple syrup on your lobster roll.

How would you ruin a lobster roll with one ingredient? Comment on the Fun 107 Facebook page.

One reader answered with "lobster" as the ingredient that would ruin her lobster roll.

"I hate lobster," she said. Fair enough.
