When and Where the Cider Social Happens
On Saturday, October 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., friends, family and community members are welcome to enjoy this fun fall afternoon.
What to Expect at the Event
Indulge in complimentary cider and donuts (while supplies last) and free walking tours.
"Cider Social is a wonderful, casual day in the country," said Marjory O'Toole, Executive Director of the Little Compton Historical Society. "One of the things I really love about it is that it is completely free, so parents could literally leave their wallet at home and still come and have a wonderful time with their kids."

Cultural Performances and Exhibits
In addition to the tours, visitors can check out two local exhibits that highlight the Sakonnet Wampanoag people.
"We are having Iron River Singers come and perform during Cider Social and they're bringing their big drum. It's a traditional rawhide covered powwow drum and they'll be singing and drumming and talking about the significance of their music throughout the event," O'Toole said.
