Another year of Christmas means another year to Light Up SouthCoast, with locals decorating their homes for the holidays and showing it off.

This time of year reminds us to slow down and enjoy the little things that can make us smile. It's incredible how Christmas lights can do just that. There’s nothing better than driving while gazing upon all the colorful lights, and what the moment can do to a person.

Last year, hundreds of homes across the SouthCoast took pride in decorating their homes in bright lights for others' enjoyment, and this year is no different.

We encourage you to take a trip and enjoy these festive holiday lights in person because photographs don't do them justice.

Remember to drive slowly through the neighborhoods and respect homeowners' properties while out there.

Nonetheless, grab a hot chocolate, invite some friends, and enjoy a leisurely drive through these neighborhoods.

Oh, and it's not too late to have your own photo added to our gallery. You can share your photo and information with us by filling out this form.
