If you were to ask me what my favorite go-to beer was, I'd tell you it was Leinenkugel's without a second of hesitation.

Now Leinenkugel's has a new sensational beverage that in my opinion will be the hit of the summer. It's a hybrid of beer and seltzer; it starts as beer, and the company then adds a splash of seltzer flavor to give it that fruity taste we all know and love.

So far, the company has announced three flavors: grapefruit, raspberry lemon and pineapple strawberry.

Now, here's the best part.

Spritzen contains only 93 calories per 12-ounce serving, which is seven calories less than White Claw, which is known and popular for its low-calorie options. It also contains absolutely no sugar as opposed to White Claw, which contains two grams of sugar. As for the alcohol content, it's similar to a light beer with an ABV of 4.2 percent. Ready for the surprising health benefit? There is nothing artificial in the seltzer; it's all-natural.

The difference in nutritional facts might not seem drastic, but every gram counts in my eyes.
