Lakeville Gets New Takeout Spot as Two Sisters Catering Grows
Lakeville residents are about to get a taste of Two Sisters Catering without needing to book a party.
For nearly a decade, owner Caitlyn Fontes has built a reputation for delivering flavorful catering experiences across the SouthCoast and beyond. Now, she’s taking her thriving business a step further with the opening of a brand-new takeout and delivery location in Lakeville.
The soft opening is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, at 4 p.m. with a limited menu, while the full rollout happens on October 16 at 217 County Street in Lakeville, the former Eagles Club.
Why Lakeville?
For Fontes, the location isn’t just strategic. It’s personal.
“I chose the Eagles because I spent my entire life on Long Pond," she said. "My family had our lake house there and it feels more like home than anywhere else for me."
Catering Meets Takeout
While catering remains the backbone of her business, Fontes believes the new addition perfectly complements her existing model.
“I see everything as equal,” she said. “Catering, takeout, and delivery will all be priorities. Catering has been successful, but it gives me more drive to focus on all areas of the restaurant business.”
Growing Pains and Smooth Sailing
Launching a new location can come with its fair share of hurdles, but Fontes described the process as seamless.
“The town of Lakeville and Freetown have been wonderful to me," she said. "I don’t see challenges or obstacles in much; I see them as growing pains to a bright future.”

What’s on the Menu?
During the soft opening, customers can expect some comfort food favorites from the catering lineup, including:
- Wings
- Pizzas
- Cacoila bifana
- Chouriço sandwiches
- Grazing tables (charcuterie boards)
The full menu will be available when the official opening kicks off October 16.
Looking Ahead
As Two Sisters Catering celebrates its 10-year anniversary on opening day, Fontes is already dreaming bigger.
“In an ideal world, I’d love to have these two locations thriving while also launching a meals-on-wheels style service,” she said. “Something where you can order pre-made meals for one person or a family, kind of like a Feast & Fettle or HelloFresh concept.”
A Decade of Support
Fontes attributes her success to the community that has stood by her since day one.
“It hasn’t been easy, but it’s surely rewarding looking back at it all. We’re excited and optimistic about what’s next," she said.
