Lakeville Snow Plow Driver Attacked With Shovel

Here's how you know it has been a long, snowy winter. We've all felt that feeling of anger when the snow plow driver pushes snow back into your driveway as you're trying to clear it. Some of us have had the urge to whack the snow plow driver over the head...but few have ever actually done it.

According to ABC 6, Lakeville Police arrested 40 year old Douglas Haskell after a dispute about where his neighbor (the snow plow driver) was putting the snow. Apparently, Haskell didn't appreciate the snow being pushed into his yard during Saturday night's storm, so police say he picked up his shovel and hit his neighbor on the head. The 60 year old man refused to be brought to the hospital. Haskell has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and will appear in Wareham District Court tomorrow.
