Kids’ Color Run Coming to Wareham

It's no surprise that the Gleason Family YMCA would come up with a fun way for kids to have fun while staying active. On Saturday, September 19th, the Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham is hosting the Fun With Color;  Color Fun Run for ages 8 and up. 

This run is much like its famous inspiration, the Color Run, where the runners act as blank canvas throughout the course. This course is 1 mile long and runs twice around the Gleason Center's scenic outside trail. The race is not about how fast you can complete it, its about living a healthy lifestyle and how much fun that can be.  The run starts at 11:00am and cost $5 per participant. For kids ages 7 and under there will be a Silly String Run on the field.
