Johnny Depp’s Calls Whitey Bulger Kind Hearted at Black Mass Premiere

Johnny Depp angered the families of some of Whitey Bulger's murder victims last night, saying the South End mobster had a "kind heart".

Depp welcomed fans with open arms but his comments on the red carpet raised some eyebrows and are not sitting well with the families of Bulger's victims.

Channel 5 in Boston talked to Depp on the red carpet.

 "Especially the family of the victims can say he is just an evil person. Umm, I just don't believe that exists, you know I think that people behave their humanity. " Then later he goes on to say "There is a kind heart in there, there is a cold heart in there, there is a man who loves, there is a man who cries. You know there is a lot to the man."  -Johnny Depp
