Police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a jewelry store in the Swansea Mall on Sunday.

City Jewelers at the Swansea Mall reported the theft to police on Sunday afternoon and their surveillance cameras caught the pair on tape.

The men reportedly entered the store around 1:45 p.m. and one man distracted an employee while the other robbed the store. No weapons were used and no one was hurt. According to Detective Patrick Mooney the exact amount and inventory of what they took had yet to be completed.

There is a description of the alleged robbers however.

The report says both men were black. One was wearing a blue-and-white plaid shirt, the other a solid blue short-sleeved shirt. Both had on blue baseball caps.

Police are asking anyone with information on the crime or anyone who saw the men or their vehicle leave the mall to contact Swansea Patrolman Robert Wilson at 508-674-8464.
