If you ever want to see some great live music from legendary bands, then The Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts, is the place to be. Over the years, I have had the privilege of checking out some legendary bands, including Lynyrd Skynyrd and original Kiss guitarist, the late great Ace Frehley. The Big E always does a bang-up job in bringing in rock artists, and this fall will be no exception.

Two Big '80s Bands to Perform at The Big E on the Same Night

Get ready to bang your head and hold up your cigarette lighter (okay, more than likely your cell phone) as two big '80s acts are making a stop at The Big E on October 2. Twisted Sister featuring Sebastian Bach (Dee Snider left the band earlier this year due to health issues) and Tesla are slated to take the stage and keep you rockin' all night long.

It's a double header of hard rock and glam metal all in one night. With Twisted Sister, you can expect classics like We're Not Gonna Take It, I Wanna Rock, and The Price, plus a slew of fan favorites. Remember Burn In Hell from Pee Wee's Big Adventure?

Tesla will have the night cranking with such classics as Modern Day Cowboy, Signs, Love Song, and Little Suzi. Their mix of rock and blues balances out the glammy fun that Twisted Sister brings to the table.

Tickets for the twin bill go on sale this Friday, July 17 at 10 am. You can get all the details here. Dig out the old Tesla and Twisted Sister cassettes and get ready to rock. I'll bring the Aqua Net.
