As Lily walked along the boardwalk at Battleship Cove, she began to tell us about herself. She didn't immediately share on the unusually warm day, but before long she was climbing trees and chatting it up.

Lily described herself as a person who doesn't give up.  "I'm the type of person where if I climb a tree and I fall I'll still try to climb the tree.  Even if I have a sprained ankle and it hurts, I'll still want to climb the tree.  So, I'll still try to climb the tree until someone tells me that I'm hurt and can't climb the tree."

Lily's social workers describe her as a creative, energetic, and caring girl. She likes to sing and learn TikTok dances. Lily loves gymnastics. She likes to listen to music and write in her journal.

Lily has a great sense of humor with and enjoys playful banter with the adults in her life. Lily is a leader with a take charge attitude. She's a great advocate for herself and others. Her dream is to one day become a teacher.

Who Can Adopt?
