Meet Skylar, Fun 107's Tuesday's Child

This week's Tuesday's Child is the always upbeat teenager, Skylar. She is a social, outgoing, and energetic teen with a curious and creative spirit.

What Makes Skylar So Special?

Skylar is the kind of kid who lights up a room. She has a big heart, a great sense of humor, and is incredibly loving and caring toward others. She thrives on positive nurturing and one-on-one attention, and with the support of caring adults, her confidence continues to grow every day. She is also learning about how to advocate for herself and express her feelings, which speaks to a maturity and self-awareness that is truly impressive for her age.

Skylar's Hobbies and Passions

When it comes to having fun, Skylar has no shortage of interests. She loves dancing, singing, and listening to music, and she particularly enjoys singing karaoke. Arts and crafts are another favorite, and she has recently been spending more time in the kitchen, where she is beginning to learn how to cook. She also loves playing tag and spending quality time with those she loves.

What Does Skylar Want to Be When She Grows Up?

Skylar has big dreams. She wants to become a veterinarian because of her deep love for animals, especially foxes and cats. A dream of Skylar's is to adopt a pet fox of her very own so she could raise it from a baby and watch it grow up happy and healthy.

If you would like to learn more about Skylar or any of the other children featured on Tuesday's Child, visit the state's adoption agency, MARE.

Tuesday's Child is proudly supported by Greater New Bedford McDonald's and First Citizens Federal Credit Union.
