Jehlia Often Dreams of Being a Mermaid

We are thrilled to bring you this week's Tuesday's Child.  Today, we introduced you to Jehlia (pronounced Julia, but with a different spelling. Jehlia is a twelve-year-old who knows what she wants in life.

Meet Jehlia

Jehlia describes herself as funny, happy, and excited all the time. She loves cuddling with people and having good friends who support her, and she lights up a room with her positive energy. Her social worker echoed that same sentiment, noting how much they admire her upbeat, fun loving attitude.

What Does Jehlia Enjoy

Jehlia is drawn to active, high energy activities. She loves swimming, describing herself as being like a mermaid in the water, along with gymnastics, soccer, and basketball. At the same time, she has a great sense of balance, she loves adventure and being outside, but she is just as happy chilling and taking things slow when the moment calls for it.

What Does Jehlia Want to Be When She Grows Up

Jehlia has her sights set on an adventurous dream career, she would love to become a professional mermaid.
