Dinosaurs are roaring back to life inside Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence this spring and you're invited to walk among them.

After a season swapping dinosaurs for dragons, the zoo will once again be filling the wetlands trail with nearly 60 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, including 25 brand new dinos.

For families with kids who are into all things dinosaurs, the brand new Return of the Dinosaurs event is going to be a must-see.

When Is Return of the Dinosaurs Opening at Roger Williams Park Zoo?

Starting April 6, 2025, and running through Aug. 10, 2025, Roger Williams Park Zoo will once again be crawling with massive, moving dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes.

The zoo promises towering brachiosaurs you have to crane your neck to see, velociraptors stalking through the brush and even a fearsome T. Rex on this immersive walk-through event.

Dinosaur lovers of all ages will be able to enjoy these moving dinosaurs all spring and summer, plus kids can get hands on with walking dinosaur rides, a dinosaur selfie station and a fossil dig site for future archeologists.

There will also be dinosaur-themed events throughout the dinosaur's stay in the park, including Dinosaur Family Nights on June 14 and Aug 9 and Sensory Mornings on April 27 and July 6.

Dinosaurs Among Us requires a separate ticket and is not included with zoo admission. Daytime tickets are $9 per person and can be purchased online for the date and time of your choosing.
