RAYNHAM (WBSM) — A Taunton man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Raynham Tuesday night.

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III said that Raynham Police and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Route 138 and Elm Street at about 7:50 p.m. on August 11 for a reported crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Details of the Raynham Collision and Victim Identity

Police arrived to find a heavily damaged 1999 Suzuki TL 1000 motorcycle in the intersection, with debris scattered throughout. The motorcycle’s operator was on the ground with significant injuries. He has been identified as Jason Marshall, 31, of Taunton.

Marshall was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

A 2015 Chevy Silverado was also found in the intersection with heavy damage to the driver’s side. The 57-year-old man who was driving the truck remained on the scene and spoke with police.

Investigation Ongoing

The investigation remains ongoing by Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the D.A.’s Office and Raynham Police.
