Like many of you, I have been diving into more and more movies and Netflix series. I'll be the first to admit, a good movie gets me choked up. Over the last few months, I have been ugly-crying a lot more than usual.

I don't cry in public. Generally, I'm pretty strong when it comes to holding tears in, but put me in the comfort of my own home and the tears will flow. Since I have watched a few more movies in recent months, I have definitely let it all out.

Admit it, watching movies from home gives you free rein to let it all out – the good, the bad, and the ugly. Even with some drive-in theaters opening up, you are still in the comfort of your car. Even if you let it all out, the car next to you is probably doing the same.

The last time I ugly-cried in public, I remember was on an airplane. I know, super dramatic, right? I was flying to Hawaii and the movie The Blind Side was on. I couldn't hold it in, so I cried. Even the flight attendant noticed and asked if I was alright.

I have watched The Notebook once since the pandemic started. Yes, I ugly-cried, but I was thankfully in my own living room.

What about you? Is there a movie or movies that have made you ugly-cry in public?
