My fiancée called me out on a bad habit I have and claims It's the most disgusting thing anyone can do.

So my fiancée and I get in the car yesterday and we're just cruising along when out of nowhere I'm hit with this: "OH MY GOD YOU'RE DISGUSTING!"

In her defense, I don't disagree, but why this time?

Apparently, while I was driving, I started biting my nail. I do that all the time. It's a bad habit I can't seem to kick, but hey, what can you do? We all have bad little habits and quirks. I guess that wasn't the part that led to the intense levels of disgust.

It was because I guess I bit and spit a nail. Now, let the record show I have no recollection of this event occurring, but she said it happened. You know the rules fellas, "happy wife, happy life." So, naturally, I had to just accept this truth and roll with it.

My question is, is it really that nasty? I can, off the top of my head, think of probably around 79 other things I could've done that would be more disgusting. Hell, I regularly do a ton of things more grotesque than that.

Is she right? Is biting your nails and spitting them one of the most disgusting things someone can do? What else am I supposed to do with that nail!? Eat it!? God no! Now that would be nasty.

I don't think it's that big of a deal, but again, "happy wife, happy life." So, I guess I better not ever spit a nail out again, or face her wrath!
