After a viral video that was uploaded eight days ago, a homeless man has been reunited with his son.

Donald Gould, who is 51 years old, was recorded playing a piano on the streets of downtown Sarasota, Florida. In the video, he played "Come Sail Away,” by Styx. The video has been viewed more than 7.6 million times on YouTube.

Gould, who was a former U.S. Marine, took a turn for the worst after his wife took her own life in 1998. He then started to use drugs and eventually lost custody of his son, Donnie, who was just three years old at the time. Donnie was then adopted by a couple named Darryl and Terri.

After the video went viral, Gould stated that he would hope his son would see his video and contact him.

According to Scripps Media.com, Donnie is now 18 and recently graduated from high school. Donnie, who is living in Michigan, has also made his father’s dream come true by contacting him.

Gould’s son briefly caught his father up on what he has been doing with his life.

Gould stated that music has taken him around the world before he was 21 and it has somehow got him back together with his son.
