It's the sneaker craze that's sweeping the internet: the "Vans Challenge."

It's sad to say that the world we live in today is completely wrapped around these idiotic internet challenges. From jumping out of moving cars to standing still while the camera roams around a room full of people to the tune of "Black Beatles" by Rae Sremmurd, the end game is only to have the best YouTube rendition to gain popularity from video views.

Ironically, I fall for these EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Apparently, a Vans shoe has been shown to always land right-side up if dropped or thrown. Once I heard that all you had to do was simply toss a Vans shoe across the room to see if the rumor was true, my inner Xenial perked up and I ordered my intern to remove her shoes for my YouTube viral video needs.

(Note: The intern was compliant and happy to help with the making of this video)

For once, I'm not going to tell you not to try this at home; in fact, I encourage it. Honestly, you'll never know how much fun something can be until you try it. Just don't throw a piece of cheese on a baby's face. That's just not cool.
