Happy Holidays Already? [POLL]

This photo was taken by me over the weekend at a well-known area department store.   Very nice and very festive.  But isn't it just a little early?

By the time Thanksgiving rolls around in a little over 5 weeks, won't this display already be a little tired?   Maybe we should celebrate Halloween, and then on November 1st, which is still nearly 8 weeks before Christmas, we can begin enjoying the holdiay displays.   What do you think?
