Just like Jack Skellington found Christmastown, Halloween lovers can find Santa's Village in New Hampshire this October.

You may not be thinking Santa's Village when you think of fun, festive things to do this October. But they want you to think again.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the New Hampshire family destination will be decorated with cobwebs, coffins and plenty of pumpkins.

The event is perfect for all ages and scare levels. Spookier areas for those brave enough and just plain fun areas for the littlest goblins.

And the park encourages you to come in costume, hosting a costume parade for the kids each Saturday at 2 p.m.

I always love a good excuse to wear those insanely expensive Halloween costumes over and over again. Really get your money's worth, ya know.

And a trip up to New Hampshire in October is bound to be beautiful with the fall foliage in full effect.

Plus the mini doe-nuts that they fry right in front of you could be worth the trip alone.

The rides are all open for business during the event (except the water ones of course) and are all decorated for Halloween too.

And even though Santa will make an appearance during the Silly Spooky Halloween event, his Home will be taken over by the Silly Nilly Witch.

It all sounds super cute to this mom and could be the perfect way to cap off a fall getaway up north this season.
