Gilded Age Star Reveals When New Season Films in Newport
Since the start of the new year we knew The Gilded Age was returning for a new season.
The historical drama almost didn't see a season three, but folks at HBO decided to give the Julian Fellowes series another shot and Rhode Islanders were thrilled.
That's because much of the show about New York's elite features Newport as the summer getaway for the now familiar faces in the series. That means cast and crew returning to the Ocean State for more filming.
So when can we expect that cast and crew to show up this summer? One star has let that cat out of the bag.
In a recent interview with ScreeenRant.com, Carrie Coon, who plays the venerable Bertha Russell, talked about the series' upcoming season and how her filming schedule will play out.

Coon was also added to the new season of HBO's White Lotus and commented the shooting both shows was going to be tight.
She said luckily the were both for the same network, so everyone involved worked to keep her in both projects, lining up White Lotus filming for June and The Gilded Age filming for July.
She expects to be done with her White Lotus scenes in time to start production of The Gilded Age's new season by mid-summer.
