Gilbert Gottfried is coming to White's of Westport on Saturday night as part of the SouthCoast Comedy Series. He called in to talk to the Rock and Fox Show this morning.

Gilbert is a comedy legend. He's been doing stand up comedy for decades. He even scored a part in one of Disney's most iconic films, Aladdin. Iago the parrot, you'll remember, was voiced by the unmistakable voice of Gilbert Gottfried. When we talked to him this morning, Gilbert told us that he'd actually forget that he was in the movie as his kids would watch it repeatedly. He'd jokingly yell at them to shut the movie off, when they'd remind him that he's actually in the movie.

Gilbert also shared a story about how when he was on tour back in the 80s he'd do a spot-on impression of Jerry Seinfeld for the other comics. He said that Jerry hated it, and would complain that Gottfried's impression wasn't even that good. Seinfeld would say that his voice wasn't that high.
