To say I'm stuffed to the brim is an understatement when it comes to dining on Martha's Vineyard.

Since the Michael and Maddie show first arrived at the Oaks Bluffs ferry terminal, we've been hitting up the restaurant scene like it's our job. Oh, wait, it pretty much is.

The morning show crew bunkered down at the Nobnocket Boutique Inn located in beautiful Vineyard Haven on Thursday with one goal in mind: to explore the food options and find the right fit for our cravings.

Night number one was Maddie's pick and she went with an exquisite dining experience at Gard East in Vineyard Haven, one of the only fine dining waterfront establishments on the island. The second night was Michael Rock's choice and as usual, it was outstanding. We all experienced a carb-overload dream at Giordano's Restaurant in Oak Bluffs. Needless to say, the seafood alfredo and cheese pizza were to die for, and don't even get me started on the garlic mussels.

By day three, it was finally my call to send the crew to a place that stuck out to me on the list of local restaurants in the Edgartown area, and I chose Sharky's Cantina. Anybody who knows me knows that I'm a sucker for Mexican cuisine and had to try out the place once and for all.

Margaritas, anyone? You bet your sweet buns I ordered one the moment I sat down. As I took a look at the menu, one margarita in special stuck out immediately: the Mexican Bulldog, aka "The Shnooki." It's basically one of those margaritas with a Corona beer stuck in it and boy was it delicious.

Right off the bat, our server brought over a basket of warm tortilla chips with our choice of guacamole and fresh salsa, so we chose both of course.

We all chose a different entree to explore the variety and flavors of Sharky's and were not disappointed.

From taco salads to oversized quesadillas, it's safe to say that the food didn't just fill the tabletop, but our bellies as well.

I do have to point out one thing that stood out at the bottom of the menu that I absolutely loved and that was owner JB's mission statement when it comes to dealing with COVID-19 rules and regulations within restaurants:

COVID RANT FROM THE OWNER:

"THE GOVERNOR SET THE RULES FOR US, NOT MY STAFF, SO PLEASE DO NOT GIVE MY PEEPS A HARD TIME.  IT'S BEEN TOUGH ENOUGH WITHOUT GUESTS WHINING ABOUT MASKS WHEN WALKING AROUND OR ANYTHING ELSE.  IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE PLEASE CALL GOVERNOR BAKER OR ME, JB THE OWNER, ON MY PERSONAL CELL AT 508-560-1932.

JUST PLEASE LEAVE THE STAFF ALONE.

THANK YOU."

JB- I applaud you, sir. This is not only a savage response to your customers but an honest one that I can 100 percent respect and back.

Overall, the drinks were cold and strong, the food was zesty and tasty, and my pick of dinner at Sharky's was as solid as it comes.
