This is Gazelle’s First Valentine’s Day as a Married Man
It's hard to believe that just four months ago, I married the best thing to ever happen to me.
Today is Valentine's Day and it's our very first one as husband and wife. Sure, there's sentimental feelings on this special day, but the love for my wife extends far and beyond the holiday. Although I forgot to pick up a card, consider this "love note" I've written for you a way to not only confess my love publicly, but I'm saving $5.99 (if not more) on a dang Hallmark card.
As I sit here, I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards my wife. It seems like just yesterday we were exchanging vows in that rustic barn, surrounded by the sound of raindrops and the warmth of our closest friends and family. Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, that day remains etched in my memory as the best day of my life.
Now, as Valentine's Day arrives, it serves as a beautiful reminder of just how lucky I am to have her by my side. Not to sound cliche, but she truly is my rock, my confidante, and my partner in all things and adventures. Her unwavering love and support have been a constant source of strength for me, and I am endlessly grateful for the life we've built together.
Our journey together is just beginning and if there's one promise I can make, it's to always buy you gas station flowers (even when it's not Valentine's Day), spoil our dog Bella, and always kiss you goodnight as the day comes to an end.
Lastly, to my wife- as we celebrate this day of love, I want you to know that my love for you only grows stronger with each passing day. I am so grateful to call you my wife.
Happy Valentine's Day, beautiful, I love you.
