Friday Night Lights Preview: Old Rochester At New Bedford Voc-Tech

We watched New Bedford Voc-Tech win in Fairhaven last week for a great Friday Night Lights showing. This week, the Bears host Old Rochester and Fun 107 will be there.

Old Rochester Regional High is undefeated so far this season, with only a single loss and nearly a Division Five South championship last year. This being said, Voc-Tech will have their hands full on Friday as the Bulldogs try to finish what they started this year.

Old Rochester is the favorite in this game, but don't expect this to be a cake walk. As we saw last week, the Bears have big play ability with good team speed. Expect it to be the best Friday Night Lights we've seen so far.

There's more than just football going on at New Bedford Voc-Tech on Friday night. The school is holding it's Middle School Night at the game for prospective students to come and check out what GNBR Voc-Tech is all about! Middle schoolers of all ages from Dartmouth, New Bedford, and Fairhaven get into the game free with student ID, along with chances to win some great prizes throughout the night.

As usual, Fun 107 will be there registering seniors for their chance at the $5,000 Jack Peterson Scholarship. The game starts at 7 p.m. at 1121 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, but get there early to check out the events going on!
