Free Pancakes At IHOP Today

What unites people more than the love for pancakes? Well, IHOP is giving free pancakes for everyone, and it's all for a good cause.

Since 2006, IHOP celebrates National Pancake Day on March 3rd by giving a free short stack of delicious buttermilk pancakes to anyone that wants them, which is anyone that shows up.

During their "Decade of Giving", the International House of Pancakes raised over $16 million for charities across the country.

So how does a company make that much money for charity by giving away stuff for free? Well, customers are simply asked to consider leaving a donation for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

IHOP's goal for this year is $3.5 million, which is easy if everyone gave just a dollar or two.
