Noah's Place Playground and Tiverton Town Farm Recreation Area are a couple of go-to spots for me and my kids, but there are so many to explore on the SouthCoast.

3. Bike the Mattapoisett Rail Trail

This beautiful bike path takes walkers, riders and dogs along a stunning route featuring the ocean on one side and the marsh on the other.

4. Visit a Local Library

Though you do need to have a library card to take advantage of checking out books and signing up for different activities, local libraries within the SAILS Library Network offer a ton of summer programs and family fun.

5. Cool Off at a Local Splash Pad

Man, I wish they had these when I was a kid. Splash pads are always a hit with the kids, and they're a great option for the little ones who aren't quite ready for a full pool day.
