After a super mild fall, winter is finally here. Including snow! So what should you expect from this weekend's weather?

It always feels a little more like Christmas with snow. And Mother Nature is ready to help us all feel festive with some of the fluffy white stuff this Saturday and Sunday.

According to ABC6 meteorologist Jeff Desnoyers, no significant accumulation is coming our way as the snow passes through Saturday night into Sunday. But the Southcoast should see a coating of white by Sunday morning.

Desnoyers says we could get an inch or two of accumulation, though that will mainly be on grassy surfaces and not the roadways (awesome!).

Roads could get a bit slick on Saturday night when temperatures drop into the 20s, so if you are out and about this weekend make sure you drive home carefully.

And if you're just hunkering down for some Christmas decorating, waking up to a little snow on Sunday could definitely get you in the holiday spirit!

Of course when the winter weather really does kick in, Fun 107 will always keep you up-to-date on the snow in the Storm Center.
