In a winter where the SouthCoast has been buried under mountains of snow, one group of Fairhaven boys found a way to turn a freezing chore into a moment that had senior citizens smiling ear to ear.

Meet the self-proclaimed “Beach Body Snow Removers.”

Maddox Santos, Conner Santos and Colton O’Connell volunteered their time to help clear snow for seniors in their neighborhood, but they added a twist nobody saw coming.

Instead of bundling up in winter gear, the boys grabbed their bathing suits, sunglasses and shovels and got to work, turning a snow-covered street in Fairhaven into what looked more like a summer beach cleanup crew.

A Snow Removal Crew With Summer Vibes

According to Conner’s aunt Luci Carvalho, the idea started as a simple act of kindness. Seniors in the neighborhood were asking for help digging out after the storm, and the boys were more than willing to lend a hand.

But Conner had an idea that would make the whole thing a little more memorable.

“The seniors in the neighborhood were asking these young boys for help and Conner, my nephew, said it would be fun to do it in their bathing suits,” Carvalho said with a laugh. “They got everybody’s attention and they volunteered their time. I got a big kick out of it when my brother said they were calling them the Beach Body Snow Removal Boys.”

Making Seniors Smile

Believe it or not, shirtless snow shoveling has become somewhat of a trend in 2026, but these boys weren’t doing it for attention or internet points.
