Find Extra Cash in Time for the Holidays

It's that time of year when we're all looking for a windfall- buying scratch tickets, playing Powerball, wondering if we have relatives who left us money we didn't know about it, etc.

Each government site has a section that allows you to search and see if you have any unclaimed money. This money can be anything from  money sitting in an inactive account, utility refunds, un-cashed checks, unclaimed wages and more!  Granted, this is not new news, but it is a great time to be reminded! Just think of all the things you could do with extra cash you didn't even expect to have!
