Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's talk animals.

There are hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast waiting for their forever families. With the help of local shelters, we share their stories.

This week, we give the spotlight to a playful pit bull that hopes to become your new best friend.

Meet Tiana. Tiana is a 3-year-old pit bull currently residing at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River and she is the life of the party.

"Tiana is an extroverted social butterfly," said the shelter. "She has no fear of strangers and will gladly meet new people, running up to them to say hello without a care in the world."

Tiana was frail when she arrived at the shelter, and she was so small they thought she was a puppy, but she is beginning to fill out.

"She's just another pocket pitty princess," said the shelter.

Tiana loves her balls, going for walks, and has proven to be a genuinely sweet soul. She is excellent with other dogs and just wants to play with every dog she meets. She has not been tested yet with cats, but the shelter believes she would do well.

Since she is a pittie mix, her forever family will have to own their home.

Does Tiana sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Forever Paws online and schedule a playdate today.

Tiana cannot wait to meet you.

If SouthCoast Dogs Had a Dating App, It Would Look Something Like This

August 26 is International Dog Day, and it got me thinking. What if there was a way for dogs to connect with other dogs in the area to make new friends? Or maybe even find love? Twenty-six dogs living on the SouthCoast sent me their profile picture and bio. Let's see the eligible pups.
