Fall River Rottweiler In Search of a Loving Family [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Another week, another animal ready for their forever home. At Fun 107, Wednesdays are all about the animals. I have teamed up with local shelters on the SouthCoast, and with their help, my goal is to get as many animals adopted as possible. For this week’s Wet Nose Wednesday, I would like you to meet Moosey.
Moosey is a four-year-old Rottweiler that is 154 pounds of pure love. His owner was extremely heartbroken when he had to turn him into to Forever Paws in Fall River, but due to changes in his personal life, it was the best option for Moosey.
Shelters like Forever Paws are a blessing when it comes to helping families and their pets.
“This is what we, as an animal shelter are here for, and we are more than happy to help owners in need when we can,” said Arianna Silva, director of the shelter.
Moosey is a gentle giant who loves to greet everyone he meets. He doesn’t like to be left alone for long periods of time and prefers to be around people to show off his skills: sit, down, stay, shake, and high five. He is dog friendly, but the shelter suggests multiple visits for a potential home to familiarize with one another.
Moosey has mixed feelings on cats, so it would be best if his new home had no cats.
This pup is up-to-date on all vaccinations and will be fixed in the coming days. The shelter suggests some training to get everyone on the same page.
Due to his size, Moosey would do best in a household with older kids and adults that have a flexible work schedule to keep him company and occupied.
