Animals bring out the best in people, and there are animals on the SouthCoast waiting to brighten up a family’s home. Hundreds of dogs, cats, and other pets sit in shelters hoping to be chosen for a forever home, and it has become our mission at Fun 107 to get as many animals on the SouthCoast adopted as possible with Wet Nose Wednesday.

Every week, we dedicate the day to an animal in search of its forever family, and this week brings us to Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.

Sadie is a sweet 10-month-old pit bull puppy that loves being with people and getting love from them.

She adores her toys and will gladly show you her favorites, as long as you play fetch with her.

While her demeanor is loving and charismatic, Sadies does have some struggles. She is deaf, which can make learning and socializing a little difficult, but Forever Paws is adamant that it doesn’t slow this brave girl down as she continues to get socialization skills through the foster program at New England Dog Training in Westport.

Sadie doesn’t understand why cats don’t enjoy her hyper behavior when all she wants to do is play with them, but her ideal forever home will not have cats. Children should be older, and the new owner should have dog experience and understand what it means to have a hyper puppy. Sadie gets along great with other dogs and people and would make a wonderful addition to any home.

If Sadie sounds like the perfect fit for your family, contact Forever Paws Animal Shelter and follow them on Facebook.
