Fall River Pit Bull Waits Patiently for His Forever Family

Another Wednesday, another chance to change an animal’s life. It’s all about the animals for Wet Nose Wednesday, where Fun 107 gives the spotlight to a local animal that is up for adoption in hopes of getting as many animals adopted as possible. With the help of several SouthCoast shelters, the adoption mission continues.

This week, our four-legged friend comes from Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.

Say hello, Gucci. Gucci is a stunning young adult pit bull who is ready for his forever home. He has been residing at Forever Paws for a few weeks, and it’s time to find him the perfect family.

Gucci is a good boy who loves being around people. His eyes are a captivating and seem to say, “Pet me please!”

“If you walk by him or pay him minimal attention, he will make sure to seek you out,” said Arianna Silva, director of Forever Paws.

He is energetic, happy 24/7, and gets along with just about everyone and everything. But be prepared for hefty hugs from this 73-pound love bug.

“He would do great with obedience training and an active family that has time to incorporate him into their routine,” Silva said. Crate training is recommended to properly acclimate Gucci to his new home and new schedule.

Forever Paws suggests that Gucci’s new family own their home, have previous dog experience, and have children at least 12 years of age.
