Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! At Fun 107, Wednesdays go to the animals.

There are hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast waiting to get adopted and it is our mission to share their stories. With the help of local shelters, we give the spotlight to one animal in hopes of uniting them with a loving family.

This week, we head to Fall River where a 2-year-old lab mix has earned the title of "certified good boy."

Meet Hugh. Hugh is currently under the care of Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River and stealing everyone's hearts in the process.

"He's been nothing but an absolute angel since he's been here," said the shelter.

Hugh gets along with pretty much everyone. He's a social butterfly with a tail that never stops wagging.

Hugh loves other dogs but is a little cautious around cats. The shelter recommends dog-friendly cats in his forever home. The shelter is also confident that he will be a breeze to train.

"He already knows a bunch of cues and he's incredible at making and keeping eye contact," said the shelter. "He's just a happy, young guy looking for his family that can take him on hikes and trips to the beach, and let him snuggle in bed with you at night."

Does Hugh sound like a good fit for you and your family? Reach out to Forever Paws online and click 'adopt' to download the application. Once complete, email to fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to 508-677-9175.

Hugh cannot wait to meet you.
