Fall River is in for a treat this weekend, and not just the hot cocoa kind.

New England Patriots Hall of Famer and franchise icon Troy Brown has officially been announced as this year’s Grand Marshal for the 41st Annual Fall River Children’s Holiday Parade, bringing some serious star power to one of the city’s most beloved holiday traditions.

Before the parade even steps off, Fun 107's very own The MGM Show will be broadcasting live on location from Kennedy Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., setting the festive tone for families arriving early.

Parade Day Details

The Children’s Holiday Parade officially steps off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, beginning at Kennedy Park and traveling down South Main Street. Organizers say this year is shaping up to be one of the biggest in history, with an impressive number of marching units, performances, floats, and community groups ready to bring the holiday spirit to Fall River.

Holiday music, dancing, larger-than-life characters, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present. The Fall River Parade Committee and Greater Fall River RE-CREATION worked together to make this year’s event one of the most magical yet – and the addition of Troy Brown as Grand Marshal seals it.
