Another Wednesday, another adorable animal to talk about.

On Wet Nose Wednesday, we get a chance to shine a light on one of the hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast waiting for their forever families. With the help of local shelters, we share their stories, and this week, a young cat from Fall River is hoping to bring happiness to a home.

Cinco is around 3 years old and was found roaming the streets of Fall River with her two kittens. Her babies found forever homes, but now it is mom's turn.

Cinco, under the care of the SouthCoast animal rescue service Moby Kit Rescue, and is a very friendly cat who loves to roll over for belly rubs.

"Anytime her foster mom comes into her room, she'll saunter over and flop over for some petting," the shelter said.

While she loves to be petted, she is still a cat, so she also likes her space and independence.

Cinco's ideal forever owner will be a person looking for a low-maintenance and independent companion, a home where she is the only animal.

"She would be a good fit for a couple or solo adopter with a quiet home and lifestyle," the shelter said.
