Fairhaven Welcomes a Safe Haven for Kids and Adults
Fairhaven residents have been raving about this new place where adults and children can relax and play.
Kaitlin Stephenson owns a daycare center in Dartmouth. She thought of the idea for Play Haven, with the goal of having a place in Fairhaven where kids can have fun and adults can relax.
Stephenson transforms the space for whatever the community might need – birthday parties, crafts, yoga classes and even live music, just to name a few. There are countless more opportunities in the works.
Winter and spring breaks can absolutely take a toll on parents looking to keep their children entertained, and let's not forget summer vacation. Play Haven can be a fun option and Stephenson is even working on ways to make it as affordable as possible.
"In March we will be making some changes to our pricing for families that come in with multiple children to hopefully make it more affordable for them," Stephenson said. "We plan on making two days out of the month grandparents' day, where it's a discounted price for grandparents who bring their grandchildren."
There are age appropriate activities everywhere you look and even snacks and drinks available.

If you haven't stopped by yet, Play Haven is located right on Huttleston Avenue (Route 6) in the same building as our friends at Seaport Realty.
"We want it to be a place for everyone," Stephenson said. "Where everyone feels comfortable and safe and the kids get to play. but also learn through play."
