You never know what you're going to find in the parking lot outside the Fun 107 studios in Fairhaven. Over the years, I've stumbled upon some pretty questionable items, including a jumbo tub of Vaseline and a half-eaten cake. However, my latest discovery might just be the most delicious mystery yet.

Halfway through The MGM Show, I found myself getting a little hungry and craving a bagel, so I took a quick walk over to Scramblers here in the plaza to grab some breakfast. Little did I know, I'd stumble upon something rather unusual on my way back.

Sitting on the sidewalk outside Cardoza's Wine and Spirits was a nearly empty container of Walmart's Southern-style chicken salad. Just sitting there sideways and abandoned, with no owner in sight.

A Chicken Salad Mystery in Fairhaven

Now, I'm a big chicken salad fan. I've had the rotisserie version before, but I've never tried Southern-style. Admittedly, I'm good with plain old original chicken salad any day of the week, and I'm a happy camper. However, here's what I don't understand: if you've ever bought chicken salad, you know that stuff isn't cheap. Why would someone leave a perfectly good container of it on the sidewalk?

It's not like it fell out of someone's grocery bag or rolled out of a car. It was just sitting there, almost completely eaten, as if someone had suddenly reached their chicken salad limit and called it quits.
