It’s Wednesday again, which only means one thing at Fun 107: it’s time for Wet Nose Wednesday. I am continuing my mission of getting as many SouthCoast animals adopted as I can, and with the help of local shelters, we aim to connect loving pets with their forever families.

If you are ready to bring home an animal, I encourage you to consider adopting from a shelter in your hometown before anything else. There are so many wonderful pets ready and waiting, just like this two-year-old German shepherd from the Fairhaven Animal Shelter.

Meet Kaleb. Kaleb was brought to the shelter after his previous owners moved and could not take him along. Since then, he has proven that he is a love bug with lots of energy.

“Kaleb loves everyone he meets and really enjoys playing with our volunteers and will wear them out one at a time,” said Terry Cripps, Director of the Fairhaven Animal Shelter.

Since Kaleb has so much energy, he would do best in an active home with a fenced-in yard.

He likes other dogs, but he can be selective at times. He gets along with others well, but tends to assert his dominance to show the he’s the top dog.

Kaleb is still a young dog and would greatly benefit from some personal training while he gets acclimated to his new home.

This handsome boy is sweet, fun, and more than ready to find a place to call home. If you would like to meet Kaleb, reach out to the Fairhaven Animal Shelter on Facebook and schedule an appointment.
