It is Wet Nose Wednesday on Fun 107! It's the best day of the week because it is all about the animals.

There are hundreds of eligible animals that are up for adoption on the SouthCoast, and it is our mission to unite as many animals as possible with the perfect families.

Thanks to the help of local shelters, we are able to highlight many of these adorable pets, and this week, we head to Fairhaven Animal Shelter, where an older pup is wishing for a second chance.

Meet Snoopy. Snoopy is a 9-year-old Maltese that is currently residing at the Fairhaven Animal Shelter in Fairhaven. Snoopy had a forever family, but things took a turn. His family was moving, and unfortunately, could not take Snoopy with them.

They brought him to Fairhaven Animal Shelter, and now Snoopy is left wondering what happened.

Stories like this break my heart. The family had no choice but to surrender their adorable pet, and I can only imagine how confusing that must be for Snoopy. One minute you are home, and the next minute, you are in a kennel with a bunch of other animals.

"Snoopy needs someone who can spend as much time as possible with him," said the shelter. He doesn't like to be left alone and he's a total lap dog. He just needs some TLC to fully thrive

Does Snoopy sound like a good fit for your family? Contact Fairhaven Animal Shelter to schedule a play date today.
