Fairhaven Acushnet Youth Baseball Championship Winners

Tuesday night at Pope Park in Acushnet the kids and coaches were ready to play and the families were surrounding the fields for what would be the last night of the seasons baseball playoff games. Who are the winning teams?

It was Acushnet Company and Varsity Club on Knox Field representing the minor league and over on Joey Jason Field, Livesey Club and Acushnet Police battled it out for the major league kids.  Both games were filled with energy, excitement and nerves for sure!

Varsity Club wins the championship game for the minors while Livesey Club takes the win and the championship for the majors this year.

In addition to the playoff games at Pope Park last night, several of the major league players received awards recognizing their talent, sportsmanship and skills during this years baseball season.  They are all pictured below :)
